We are working with an independent small animal practice in Stowmarket, Suffolk that is looking for Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position that would suit a vet with a minimum of 1 years post-graduation experience.
The Practice:
This practice is proud to be an independent practice that aims to exceed clients expectations with regards to the care that they provide to their patients. In every case, they ask themselves what would they want if it was their pet. The practice has 4 Vets, 6 nurses and 1 SVN’s with state of the art equipment including an Endoscope, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, separate cat and dog wards, in-house laboratory, imaging suite and modern dentistry suite.
The Role:
The practice is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1-year post graduate experience to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time role work on average 44 hours per week, with one late night finish each week. There are no out of hour requirements and the weekend rota is 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 08.30-12.00 (noon). The consults are 15 minutes/
There will some period of sole charge required on Saturdays and when covering the late shift, so you will need to be comfortable with this.
The Candidate:
You will have at least 1-year post graduate experience and comfortable with all parts of a general practice role. The practice actively encourages and support their staff in their development and clinical interests and are open to suggestions on improvements and development to help with the care of their patients.
