We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent practice in Canterbury, Kent, who are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
The Practice:
This practice is a friendly, family run veterinary practice in Canterbury, Kent, with state of the art general veterinary facilities.
Their state of the art facilities include:
• Digital X-ray and ultrasound
• Full surgical facilities with separate cat and dog operating theatres and wards
• Air powered dental equipment
• In-house lab equipment
• Laser therapy
• Endoscopy
The Role:
This role is to work alongside 5 full-time equivalent Vets, and a dedicated Nursing and support team, all within the one site.
It is a full-time role working 4 days week between 8.30-19.00. The weekend rota is 1:5 Saturday 9.00-17.00 and Sunday 10.00-16.00.
There are no out of hour requirements.
The Candidate:
To qualify for this position, you must be a good communicator, used to working to a gold standard. Although there is no sole charge involved in this role, you must be able to perform routine ops and consults unassisted.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 DOE + performance related bonus + 20 days holiday + Bank holiday + CPD.
