We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent practice near Hertford in East Hertfordshire, who are currently recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position and the practice are happy to consider Vets of all levels of experience.
The Practice:
This practice is a long established Veterinary practice in East Hertfordshire, with 6.5 Vets all based at one site. They pride themselves in treating all pets to the best of their ability and are happy to treat all small animals.
Their vets are passionate about providing the best possible healthcare and as pet care evolves they continually invest in new equipment and train in new procedures, enabling them to provide the highest standards in pet care. The practice specialises in Dermatology, Acupuncture, Weight Clinic and Exotic Clinics.
The Role:
This is a full-time position, working 4.5 days per week with shifts of either 8.30-18.30 or 8.00-13.00. The weekend rota is 1:6 Saturday 9.00-13.00 and 1:6 Saturday 9.00-13.00 with inpatient checks.
There is 1 night on call per week, and the practice outsources their weekend on call.
The Candidate:
The practice is happy to consider Vets of all levels of experience, from new graduate to a Vet with lots of experience. All of their Vets work under 1 site in a friendly and supportive environment.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary from £30,000 (for a new graduate) upwards + 23 days holiday + Bank holiday + 5 days CPD funded to £1500
