We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent practice based in South West Hertfordshire, who are currently recruiting for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position and all levels of experience would be considered.
The Practice:
Our client has an experienced and friendly team, which aim to provide a high standard of care for all pets in their care. They an independent and longstanding veterinary practice which has been established for a number of years and offer a range of expertise to look after animals in sickness and health.
They have 5.5 vets and a team of nurses that are there to give advise on preventative health care, diets, and behaviour, as well as treatment when pets are ill.
Services include consultations, surgery, hospitalisation, in-house lab, dental care, X-ray, ECGs, Ultrasound.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working 4 days per week, 3x 9.00-19.00 1x 9.00-17.00.
The weekend rota is 1:4 Saturday 9.00-16.00 with on call over the weekend. There is also an on-call requirement of 1 night per week.
Our client operates their own out of hours cover as they are passionate about building good relationships with clients and this ensures care continuity. They are a passionate team and have loyal clients due to their commitment to the care of patients.
The role is predominantly based at their main site, with occasional shifts requirements at their consult only site 3 miles away.
The practice is happy to consider all levels of experience, from new graduate to a Vet with years of experience.
In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary starting from £30,000 (new graduate) + 20 days holiday + CPD.
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
