We are currently recruiting for an independent practice based near the Lancashire coast. They are recruiting for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

• To work across 2 sites around 4 miles apart
• To work alongside a team of 5 Vets
• Working on a 5-week rota, to include ooh and weekends
Our client is an independent practice based in Lancashire that has been established for over 23 years. They have full medical and surgical facilities, Extensive ultrasound & x-ray equipment, Endoscope, acupuncture, laboratory facilities available, B.V.A. Hip & Elbow score x-rays - see our BVA Schemes section, Cryosurgery, electrocardiography, Dental surgery, teeth scaling, polishing and dental hygiene advice. They also offer nurse clinics, which include free Puppy Pre-School for Animal Medical Centre clients, Weight clinics and feeding advice on quality pet foods & special diet foods, Safe and effective flea and worm treatment, Nail-clipping, Micro-chipping, Dental checks and advice on dental care. They have 2 branches, each of which is fully dedicated to offering gold standards of care to animals in their charge.
This is a full-time position, working alongside 5 other Vets across 2 sites, which are around 4 miles apart.
The practice operates on a 5-week rota, working 4 days per week between 8.30-19.00. This rota includes 1 full weekend from Saturday 8.30-12.30 then you would remain on call until Monday. They also have an emergency clinic on Sunday, 11.30-12.00.
This also includes 1 Friday night on call with a Saturday morning surgery between 8.30-12.30.
There is one night on call per week.

In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary £30,000 - £50,000 DOE + 5.6 Weeks holiday + generous CPD + House
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
