We are currently working with a small animal practice based North of Salisbury in Wiltshire who is looking to recruit a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing and progressive practice consisting of two vets, nurses and support staff.
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
This is a part-time position with the successful candidate working approximately 25 hours per week with no out of hours expected and a rota of 1:3 Saturday 9.00am-12.00pm.
Our client is looking for a team member that is motivated in their profession and keen to develop. They should have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate empathy. It is important that they can integrate into the community and with the veterinary team. A good social life, personal hobbies and a keenness to settle in a new environment would be advantageous and must have a valid driving licence.
