We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Winchester, Hampshire
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
Enjoying a good variety of interesting medical and surgical cases at this modern and well-equipped practice, you’ll be joining a small team of one other vet and one nurse.
The Role:
The ideal person will have the clinical freedom to work up their cases to the highest standard and is confident with consultations as well as medical cases and general surgery. You must be passionate about providing excellent customer service, be cheerful, down-to-earth with a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike. You should be ambitious and a team player with the drive and passion to enhance the service they already provide. The role will predominantly be based in Winchester, however, will include two days a week working in another local practice. No out of hours is required. The exact working hours are to be confirmed.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be competent with general surgery and emergency procedures. This role would suit an ambitious vet that will help grow and develop the branch and team.
