We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
You will be joining a friendly team made up of 4 full-time vets, 2 full time and 2 part time RVNs, 2 student nurses and 6 receptionists.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious full-time veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis. The full-time hours include working a rota of 1 in 3 weekends and no out of hours. There may be some sole charge so you’ll need to have good medical and surgical experience and confidence in communicating with owners and their pets. You will be confident with routine surgical and medical cases and in addition bring excellent communication skills. You will relish being part of a very friendly and relaxed team that prides itself on being open to new ways of working.
