We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Central Bedfordshire.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
Enjoying a good variety of interesting medical and surgical cases at this modern and well-equipped practice, You will be joining a supportive team made up of 2 vets, 1 RVN, 2 student nurses and 3 receptionists.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious full or part-time veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis. They will consider full or part-time hours (minimum of 20 hours per week) with a weekend rota of 1 in 3. There are no out of hours with this role. The successful applicant will have good general surgical and medical skills and enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and colleagues. Our client encourages regular CPD and is happy to support team members with their individual interests.
You will need to be confident with some sole charge responsibility and enjoy the variety provided by clients and colleagues. The client base is predominantly dogs and cats however they do see some small furries including rabbits and rodents.
