We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent Veterinary Hospital based in a beautiful area of West Sussex, they are looking for a permanent, confident, empathetic small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their close-knit team on a full-time basis.
The Practice
Our client has been in the area for over 100 years, and is renowned in the local community as a veterinary surgery that cares for their clients' pets as much as their clients do. They cater for a whole range of animal care, from domestic cats and dogs to exotic pets such as snakes and spiders. They pride themselves on being able to offer a professional and friendly service to the local residents. Their practice offers a complete range of amenities to provide the highest standard of care with state of the art facilities and equipment. The Exemplary operating facilities enable staff to carry out all manner of treatments, from standard checkups to complex procedures. The Surgery also boasts an extensive pharmacy where prescription-only medicines are available to pets under the care of the practice. Facilities include; In-house bloods, X-Ray, Dental equipment, Ultrasound, Laser etc.
The Role:
The position is full time on a rota basis, with 1 in 4 weekends and 1 on call per week. An attractive rota is available, working on average 4 ½ days per week. You will be working alongside 4 Permanent Vets, 3 locums and 12 nurses at this client-focused, friendly practice.
The Candidate:
The practice is looking for a confident, ambitious Vet who is ready to join their forward-thinking team and can think outside the box to help bring the practice and team forward. There is scope to build your own client base and follow cases through all the way. The practice encourages rapport building to gain relationships and respect from their clients.
In return the practice is offering a generous salary dependant on experience with encouraged CPD, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, pension scheme, VDS fees paid, accommodation is available if required and access to the practice vehicle.
New graduates + are considered. There is a great support system throughout the practice, the practice pride themselves on being all about their reputation and will help all team members be the very best that they can be.
