We are currently working with an independent, family run small animal practice in Cranleigh, Surrey, that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. They will consider all levels of experience from new graduate through to an experienced vet.
The Practice:
This independent practice aims to provide a high standard of professional service to their clients in a friendly atmosphere. It is also committed to continuing professional development for staff by way of training courses, seminars, conferences etc. and is a registered veterinary nurse training centre. Services include radiography, ultrasound scanning, endoscopy, and electrocardiography. Some laboratory work is done in-house but most blood and other samples are sent to a professional laboratory, with most results available within 24 hours. Medical care is underpinned by the use of a full range of modern orthodox treatments plus several complementary therapies including homoeopathy, acupuncture and Bach Flower therapy. They also offer a wide range of surgical procedures, including full dental care, backed up by the latest anaesthetic agents and equipment and full anaesthetic monitoring.
The Role:
This full-time role is to work 4.5 days per week alongside 2 other vets, working hours are from 8:45 am to 5 pm or 7 pm.
The weekend rota is only 1:3 Saturday mornings where you will get the following Friday off in lieu. There are no out of hours requirements for this role.
This role will include routine consults and surgery. The atmosphere is very relaxed, there would also be accommodation available on a short-term basis should you need it and use of a car.
