We are currently working with an independently owned first opinion small animal practice based in Bury, Lancashire.   Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:
Our client is an independently owned first opinion small animal practice, that is approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.  Their team pride themselves on being able to offer a first-class service with quality of care to small animals and have been doing so for the past 25 years. They have a team of dedicated vets who keep abreast of the latest techniques by pursuing continuing education.  The practice has facilities that include - Digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, ECG, incubators, infusion pumps,  intensive care and blood pressure monitoring.

The Role: 
This is a permanent full-time position for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon.  You will be working 30 hours per week with shifts of 08.00-1400, 0930-1530, 1300-1900, 1600-2200 and 0930-1530. The weekends are on a rota of 1:6 working Saturday and Sunday 0800-1830 and in return, you would receive the following week off. 

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work with people of all levels and backgrounds. You will be an excellent communicator with good time management and confident with surgery and consultations.

In return, the practice is offering a generous salary of £45,000 dependent on experience.
