An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients busy, small animal (training) practice in County Durham on a permanent basis. This practice is perched high on the North Pennines and is within easy reach of Newcastle & Durham, but surrounded by fine countryside.
This practice prides itself on strong core values, striving to provide the highest standard of care with nurses playing a vital role in maintaining these high clinical standards. All of their nurses are valued and used to their full potential by undertaking a full range of nursing duties such as anaesthetic monitoring and recovery, inpatient care, blood sampling, nursing clinics (physiotherapy, laser, puppies parties and weight clinics) and radiography.

This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours a week. You will be working 4days a week with a share of the on-call and weekend rota. The weekend rota is 1 in 6 and some on-call until 11 pm.
