We are currently working with state of the art expanding practice, that offers the highest standard of veterinary medicine and surgery. The practice is looking to recruit an ambitious, forward-thinking, small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team based in Nottingham. Ideally, this will be an experienced vet with good surgical skills.
The Practice
Our client is a large, purpose-built facility with modern equipment. The practice can offer low-cost, quality care and a no appointment system. Walk-in appointments are available throughout the day where pets and clients receive a warm welcome. The practice boasts separate cat and dog waiting areas to keep pets stress free. The practice is part of a group or four practice based across the UK. The Nottingham practice has a friendly team of 4 vets, 5RVNs, 1 student, 1 VCA and 2 receptionists.
The Role:
This is a permanent full-time post working 40hours per week with a varied rota, with hours between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm you will do either a shift of 11-8pm or 8-4pm.
The weekend rota is 1:3 with 2 days given in lieu (Monday-Tuesday). The role involves a varied caseload of walk-in appointments.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be able to think on their feet and be able to handle the varied caseload. The ideal candidate will be competent with advanced surgery and emergency procedures.

1 Year Experience - £33,000

Cert holders would receive £5,000 on top.
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
