We are working with a client with a practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a small animal Vet on a full or part-time permanent basis. The location is very conveniently located just 10 minutes from the M1.

The Practice:

This practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be joining a team of 4 vets, 2 RVN’s, 8 Veterinary Care Assistants and Receptionists.

The Role:

We are in need of a full time permanent experienced full time vet (40hrs per week). Every other Saturday and Sunday with time off in week when doing a weekend. Bank holidays and Christmas shifts will be expected. We ideally need someone who can hit the ground running and has a number of years experience. Exact rota and salary to be discussed at interview.

To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
