We are recruiting on behalf of an independent veterinary group situated in Newcastle who are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Our client is an established veterinary group with well-equipped veterinary surgeries situated in various locations throughout Tyne and Wear. They have an excellent reputation and fantastic facilities and equipment allowing them to see and treat a varied caseload.
They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team on a full time (part time also considered) permanent basis. Our client is looking for a vet with experience and there will be sole charge at times so you must be comfortable with this.
The full-time role will be working varied shifts over 4 or 5 days a week, working alongside a large team. The weekend rota is 1:6 full weekends working Sat & Sun (you will get a Fri & Mon off of the following week) and 1:3 Sat mornings.
The on call rota is 1 night per week, with 2 vets on call at the same time, if you are working the weekend there will be no OOH that week.
In return, our client is offering a salary that is varied/depending on the candidate. With the full-time role accommodation or allowance is available with a car and 8 weeks holiday plus additional benefits.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
