This is a rare opportunity to work for a friendly, family run business in Farnham, Surrey who are looking for a small animal Veterinary surgeon to join their practice.

The Client:
This business believes that their customer care and experienced staff is their main asset and this includes 4 veterinary surgeons, along with their support team of 4 fully qualified veterinary nurses and excellent reception staff. They pride themselves on the quality and range of equipment which includes full operating and hospitalisation facilities, digital X-ray, ECG, and blood testing laboratories.
The Role:
This is a full-time position, offering a 4 or 4.5 day week, working between 8.30-18.30.
The weekends are 1:4 Saturday 8.30-13.00 and inpatient checks are 1:6 weekends, although any critically ill patients are cared for by OOH provider, so some weekends you won’t need to come in at all.
The position is at our client’s main site in West Surrey, however, may include occasional days at their branch practice 10-15mins drive down the road, where there may be some sole charge work.
To qualify for this position, you must be able to perform sole charge consults and all routine surgery; ideally having 2years minimum experience.
You would be joining a very close team, so you must be a team player, as cases are often shared and discussed between the team.
In return, our client can offer a competitive salary DOE (c. £40k for the right candidate of around 2 years’ experience) + 4 weeks holiday + Bank holiday + £1000 CPD + Pension
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
