We are currently working on behalf of an independent practice just North of Blackpool who is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their 6 Vet team.

The Practice:
Our client is a team of dedicated, experienced and friendly Vets, Veterinary Nurses and practice staff all aiming to help you with your small animals. Established 25 years ago, they have the knowledge of your animal that will ensure your beloved pet is getting the right treatment it needs when it needs it.
As well as general care, vaccinations, pet passports and more, they also have a comprehensive emergency out of hours should your pet fall drastically ill.
Our client has recently completed the process of building a brand new hospital on the same site, which is fully equipped with 6 consult rooms, 3 theatres, ultrasound, Orthopaedics, ECG, Hydrotherapy, MRI scanner.
The role:
The role is to join an expanding team of vets, RVN’s, ANA’s and reception staff at an exciting time in the development of the practice.
Hours are negotiable, but full time is usually 4 days per week working 8.30-19.00
In the past, weekends have been 1:5 08:30-17:00 Saturday and 09:30-13:00 Sunday, then on call rest of weekend, and on call one night a week.
This is also however up for discussion and may well be less frequent due to the recent expansion and recruitment!
Consults are 15 minutes
The candidate:
To qualify for this position you must have at least 6 months’ experience in practice, be friendly, upbeat and good at working in a team environment.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
