We are recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal practice who are you looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their dedicated team. Our client is looking for either a full or part time vet to join their practice in Ludlow, Shropshire.
The Practice:
Our client has a passion for providing quality veterinary care to their patients and the best possible service to their clients. Over recent years the practice has invested and modernised considerably to provide a service fit for the 21st century. The number of veterinary surgeons in the practice has increased to seven. They employ a total of nearly 30 staff at four sites. Their service includes: Full medical, surgical and anaesthetic facilities using modern equipment, in house biochemistry lab for same day results, ultrasound and radiographic suite, a range of up to date dental equipment for extractions, ultrasonic scaling and polishing, comfortable kennel facilities, 24 hour emergency cover, trained veterinary nursing staff who regularly check in-patients, passport and micro-chipping.
The Role:
This position is either full time working 4 days a week or part time 3 days a week. Weekends are on a rota basis working 1:5 Saturday mornings with an on call rota of 1 night per week and 1:5 weekends on call.
The Candidate:
The successful applicant will be keen, ambitious and interested in assisting the practice in its vision to build on their current small animal client base. The candidate will be personable, friendly with good communications skills, customer focused, capable of consulting, seeing things through, bitch spays, dentals and routine surgery and happy to work as part of a team.

OOHs: 1 night per week & 1:5 weekends

Salary: Competitive and negotiable - Dependent on skills & experience + CPD allowance
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
