  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and growing team based in Sittingbourne.
  • The practice is seeking a confident, friendly, and enthusiastic professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the field.
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, good general small animal surgical and medical abilities, and a strong desire to learn and improve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role involves working 40 hours a week, including 1 in 3 weekends, with no out-of-hours shifts.
  • Flexible working is readily available, with school hours as an option.
  • The successful candidate will be part of a team that conducts routine surgeries and orthopaedic operations, offering a varied caseload.

About the Practice:

  • The practice has been serving the community for 8 years and prides itself on its friendly, welcoming service.
  • It is equipped with an ultrasound, an in-house lab, and an X-ray facility, which is occasionally converted into a euthanasia room to provide a more comfortable environment during difficult times.
  • The team comprises 2 full-time vets, 5 qualified nurses, 1 VCA, and 4 receptionists, ensuring a good staff-to-patient ratio.
