An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established and busy practice in the coastal city of Plymouth. The practice is seeking an ambitious individual who is comfortable in sole charge and possesses a broad range of GP skills.

The Role:

  • The successful candidate will be joining a team committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the heart of the community.
  • The practice is led by a Clinical Lead who is working towards a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care.
  • The team also includes a Head Nurse and Clinical Coach, all supported by a dedicated team.

Duties:

  • As a Veterinary Surgeon, your days will involve anything from routine health consults to complex medical cases and surgery.
  • The practice ensures a well-structured day with consults given 15 minutes as standard, and time for breaks, admin, and lunch, all factored into your day.

Flexibility:

  • The practice offers flexible hours, with the option to join on a full or part-time basis depending on your needs and preferences.
  • Ideally, this role will cover a minimum of 30 hours a week, preferably including 1 in 3 Saturdays, but with no out-of-hours (OOH).
