This modern, purpose-built practice has achieved Silver Cat-Friendly status and Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWAF) accreditation, demonstrating its commitment to excellent patient care. The team regularly sees a variety of interesting surgical and medical cases, providing an exciting and diverse caseload. Location & Facilities The practice itself is modern and well-equipped, featuring all the expected veterinary technology, plus a Cryopen for Cryotherapy.
The practice is led by experienced professionals, including:
A Veterinary Surgeon with over 13 years of experience, a qualified Vet GDP Advisor with a special interest in soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine
A Registered Veterinary Nurse with 22+ years of experience, specializing in preventative care and anaesthesia
A dedicated Practice Manager, who also serves as a Mental Health First Aider
Supporting them is a skilled team including another Veterinary Surgeon, nurses, a Veterinary Care Assistant, and Client Care Advisors, all working together to deliver high-quality veterinary services.
The Role: This position is ideally full-time, with shift patterns of 09:00-17:00 and 11:00-19:00, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 09:00-17:00. However, flexible working arrangements can be discussed to accommodate individual needs. No out-of-hours (OOH) work.
The practice prioritises work-life balance, offering:
20-minute consults to ensure excellent patient care
The last appointment at 6:30 pm, allowing for a timely finish
Built-in admin time, tea breaks, and a protected lunch break
Candidate: Due to the nature of this role, an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with sole charge, possess strong communication skills, and be a great team player.
