This well-established veterinary practice in Dagenham, Essex is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities within a practice that prioritises team well-being and work-life balance.
About the Practice:
- This modern, purpose-built small animal practice has been serving the local community since 2015. Designed to industry-leading standards, the facility is fully equipped with digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, and a full dental kit to support high-quality veterinary care.
- The practice fosters a positive team spirit, offering flexible working arrangements and 20-minute consultations to ensure excellent patient care and clinician wellbeing. The team consists of three experienced Veterinary Surgeons who handle a variety of medical and surgical cases, making this an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Location & Transport Links: Conveniently situated near a railway station, the practice has direct train connections to London in under 25 minutes. It also offers free onsite parking and easy access to major road networks, including the M25 and A13, making commuting simple and efficient.
Work Schedule:
- This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities (full-time equivalent of 40 hours per week) within a practice
- 1 in 3 weekend rota (with days off in lieu)
- No out-of-hours (OOH) commitments
The Ideal Candidate: This role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 3-4 years of experience, who is confident with routine surgery, dentals, and patient consultations. The ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy building strong relationships with clients and their pets
- Take pride in delivering high standards of patient care
- Be keen to develop a special area of interest, with full support and funding for CPD, including certificates
