We are currently recruiting on behalf of a dedicated, small animal practice based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Our client is looking for a full time an Excellent Registered Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client has a large, purpose-built facility with modern equipment. Their dedicated team of pet care professionals strives to provide to provide the utmost of services, including low-cost prices, flexibility and a calming and welcoming environment for clients and their pets. Their high standards of veterinary care make them the best. No appointments as the practice is a walk in clinic and strive to see patients within ten minutes. The practice boasts separate cat and dog waiting areas to keep your pets stress free. The purpose-built practices are equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment and are staffed by a friendly, knowledgeable team of 5 Vets, 5 RVN’s 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 1 VCA and 2 Receptionists.
The Role:
This is a full time, working 40hours per week on a 12-week rolling rota. Shifts vary from 7.30 am - 4.30 pm, 8 am - 5 pm, 9 am - 6 pm, 10 am - 7 pm or 11.30 am - 8.30 pm and all shifts are 9hours with a 1-hour lunch. Most weeks include a half day.
The weekend rota is 1 in 6, consisting of a Saturday and Sunday 8 am - 4 pm. There are no out of hour requirements.
The Candidate:
This position would suit a candidate who can think on their feet and be able to handle the varied caseload. A confident and competent Nurse is desirable to lead the team.
In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary between £24,000 - £30,000 dependant on skills and experience.
