Our client in York is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with equine experience and a keen interest in orthopaedics.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills with exposure to a thoroughbred racehorse caseload. If you are looking for your next challenge in a supportive, flexible, and forward-thinking team, this role might be perfect for you.
The Role:
They are looking for a proactive and capable vet with a keen interest in orthopaedics to help manage and grow this caseload while also contributing to their diverse ambulatory work.
Prior experience with racehorses is beneficial but not essential. A passion for learning and development is more important.
The rota is flexible and can be tailored to individuals.
Half of their OOH is serviced by EquiCall; currently, the rota is 1:10. A Friday off follows any weekend on-call duty.
All their vets, excluding new graduates, hold certificate qualifications as well as other post-graduate degrees and they would actively encourage and support the successful candidate to further their development in whatever area they desire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice with a diverse and exciting caseload. If you are a dedicated and passionate Veterinary Surgeon seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
