We are working with a hospital practice in Bansley that is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon, whether newly qualified or experienced, to join their first-opinion day team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be confident in handling routine surgical and medical cases.
  • Possess a keen interest in managing a diverse caseload with the ability to work cases up to a high standard.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service and collaborating effectively within a highly skilled team.

Working Hours:

  • This full-time position averages 41.5 hours per week, structured as three weekdays and alternate weekends, resulting in an average of four working days per week.

About the Veterinary Hospital:

  • This outstanding Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, offers comprehensive 24/7 care. Established in 2002, it has grown into a centre of excellence, providing an array of services such as neurosurgery, orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery, stem cell therapy, and chemotherapy.
  • The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technologies, including a CT scanner, rigid and flexible endoscopes, and ultrasound machines.

The Team:

  • The hospital boasts a diverse team of 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 24 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), 3 Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), 5 Animal Care Assistants (ACAs), and a proficient non-clinical support team.
