​An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly professional team in Buckingham.

About The Role:

  • The role is full-time, offering 40 hours per week, but part-time roles will also be considered.

  • The practice is flexible with days off and start/finish times, ensuring a good work/life balance for the team.

  • The weekend rota is built around 1 in 3 Saturdays (8 am – 6 pm).

  • The role involves a mixture of consultations and operations, providing ample opportunities to build cases and develop skills and relationships with clients.

About You:

  • The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with strong communication skills and a good understanding of a first opinion practice.

  • The ability to work well within a team and handle sole charge is essential.

  • You will have the opportunity to work up cases and share in routine and non-routine consultations, as well as frequent surgeries.

The practice has been serving a lovely client base for over a decade, offering a varied caseload for a first opinion practice. The team prides itself on providing clients with the highest level of clinical care in a professional and reliable manner. The modern facility includes a well-equipped operating theatre, multiple consultation rooms, digital x-ray, isolation unit, separate dog/cat wards, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and Laser therapy.
