An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic team at a 24-hour hospital in Brighton. This role is perfect for someone experienced in a hospital environment and confident in managing a range of medical and surgical cases.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be part of a team handling a diverse caseload, with both emergency and advanced medical cases referred from five branch practices and local practices.
The working schedule is full-time, four days a week, with a 1:8 weekend rotation and a day off in lieu on Mondays.
There is a dedicated in-house out-of-hours team for smooth handovers.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate possesses excellent nursing and communication skills and demonstrates a keen interest in driving standards and supporting and developing a team.
A high degree of attention to detail, strong organisational and multitasking skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
A commitment to ongoing professional development, a passion for animal welfare, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to pets and their owners are also required.
Benefits:
Excellent Salary between £31,000 and £34,000 pa reflective of skills and experience
