A well-established, RCVS-accredited veterinary practice in Guernsey is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its dynamic team. This busy, well-equipped surgery serves a population of over 60,000 people, offering a full range of veterinary services to both small animals and equines.

The Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and dedicated RVN, confident in delivering the highest standards of care, with at least two years of post-graduate in-practice experience preferred.

  • The practice fosters a supportive and collaborative environment, actively encouraging professional growth and innovation. Nurses are encouraged to contribute ideas to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

The Role

  • 40 hours per week, including 1:3 Saturdays

  • Night shift options available upon discussion

  • On-call rota to be determined at the interview stage, with retainer fees and an hourly rate for overnight work

  • Opportunity to develop special interests in areas such as nurse clinics, theatre, medicine, or intensive care

The practice boasts a dedicated and highly skilled team of 40 professionals, including Veterinary Surgeons with certificates and postgraduate qualifications in surgery and equine dentistry.

  • CT scanner

  • Hydrotherapy unit

  • In-house laboratory

  • DR and CT x-ray machines

  • Digital endoscopy and ultrasonography

  • Veterinary Nurse Training Centre
