A well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal and equine practice in beautiful Perthshire is looking for an exceptional small animal vet to join its dedicated team. The Practice

The practice operates from a single, purpose-built site and is fully equipped to provide a high standard of care. The friendly and experienced veterinary team is supported by skilled RVNs, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care. A strong focus is placed on creating a positive and supportive working environment.

Facilities Include:

  • Six consulting rooms

  • Imaging suite

  • Dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray

  • Two theatres

  • Endoscope

  • Multiparameter monitoring equipment

  • Full in-house laboratory for bloods, urinalysis, and cytology

  • Visiting specialists for orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery

The Role:

  • A welcoming and supportive team excited to welcome a new vet

  • A progressive practice offering clinical freedom and in-house development opportunities

  • Full-time, with the rota being discussed in the interview.

  • 1:5 OOH rota, with a day off after a weekday on-call and a long weekend following a weekend on call

  • 24/7 nursing support for emergencies, triaging, and inpatient care

  • Work-life balance focus: Time back for any rare overtime, three days per week with a 5 PM finish

Daily Routine:

Well-structured diary with:

  • 15-minute appointments as standard

  • Double appointments for complex cases

  • Reserved same-day emergency slots

  • 30 minutes of catch-up time before finishing for the day

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about high-quality clinical care and enjoy building strong client relationships. While experience is preferred, an exceptional new or recent graduate will also be considered.
