A unique opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a reputable small animal practice in Dudley, West Midlands. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional, confident in surgery, and interested in mentoring junior team members.

The Role:

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a fulfilling role with a supportive team and excellent benefits.
  • The role is part-time, ideally for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, with the flexibility to consider other options.
  • The position requires working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
  • There are no Sundays or out-of-hours duties.
  • If you are looking for a different shift pattern, the practice is open to discussion.

  • The practice has a varied caseload that could help support the pursuit of further qualifications.

About the Practice:

The practice has excellent facilities, including an operating theatre, three dedicated consult rooms, a large prep area, an x-ray room, and an isolation block with separate cat and dog kennels. The team comprises three vets, four RVNs, two SVNs, one PM, and four receptionists.

The practice has a low staff turnover and a supportive, stable team. They are proud recipients of the ISFM Silver Certificate Cat Friendly Clinic award, RAW Silver Rabbit Friendly award, a Compassion Understood bronze award, and SPVS Wellbeing Award 2019.
