We are working with a well-established mixed animal veterinary practice in Ceredigion, Mid West Wales that is looking for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client is a well-established mixed practice that has been delivering veterinary services for over 50 years They have developed a successful brand based upon high standards of patient care and fostering positive client-practice relationships. Leadership succession and growth of the business has opened up a role for an experienced small animal Vet, who would step into a workplace with employee wellbeing at its heart.
You would be part of a varied team of vets and supportive RVNs and receptionists that are committed to providing compassionate patient care. They are all about the professional and personal development of their expanding team, from supporting and investing in individual interests to mentoring our spritely new and recent graduates.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a professional and caring general practitioner with experience in small animal practice. They are not looking for perfection, to fit their clan you need to be someone who can make, follow-through and reflect on your own decisions and get involved in the good-humored practice discussions. They like people who lead by example and take time to care, for themselves and others.
In order to foster a positive and sustainable working environment their hours are fairly sociable and flexible. They have 15 minute consultations standard with time allocated for communications, reflection, and LUNCH!
Their full-time vets work a 40 hour week over 5 days and they proudly provide their own out of hours service supported by the RVNs, and you will have an equal share in this 1 in 4 rotas with generous time off in lieu. Part-time applications will also be considered.
The staff the practice priority, but they do have some equipment too - including laptop abdominal/cardiac ultrasound, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, in-house laboratory, HD microscopy and dental radiography in 2020.
