A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dedicated and skilled nursing team in a well-established veterinary practice in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Role and Responsibilities
This position offers the chance to work alongside a team of highly experienced Veterinary Surgeons, many of whom hold advanced certificates. With minimal need for external referrals, the practice manages a diverse range of cases, allowing nurses to gain experience in a variety of procedures and advanced nursing techniques.
The nursing team is well-established, with some members having been with the practice for over 35 years. Nurses are fully utilised in their roles, including consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, ensuring high job satisfaction. The team also includes specialists in areas such as anaesthesia, emergency & critical care, and behaviour, offering an excellent environment for professional growth. Additional support is provided by dedicated Patient Care Assistants who work alongside nurses to maintain exceptional patient care.
Hours: 40 hours per week, including 1:7 Saturday mornings. Candidates can choose between working 1:13 full weekends or 1:8 weeks of nights.
Skills/Exp:
The role includes some out-of-hours work and would be well-suited to a self-motivated RVN with their own transport who is eager to develop their skills.
Candidates have the flexibility to choose between night shifts or weekend shifts.
Some work across multiple sites may be required, within reasonable limits.
