An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a thriving small animal practice in Torquay. This friendly and supportive practice is seeking a dedicated individual to become part of its close-knit and talented team.
About the Role:
The purpose-built practice is well-equipped with a dedicated theatre, digital x-rays, ultrasound, dental x-rays, and IDEXX haematology and biochemistry. It offers advanced in-house surgical, medical, imaging, and dental services, providing a comprehensive general practice experience.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a varied and interesting caseload, utilising their nursing skills to the fullest.
Responsibilities will include nurse consults, second vaccinations, post-operative checks, bandage changes, weight clinics, schedule three procedures, radiography, COHAT, and more.
The practice is committed to ensuring that its nurses are fully supported in their professional development and encouraged to enhance their skills within a collaborative team environment.
Hours: The position is ideally full-time with a 1 in 4 weekend rota (Saturday mornings in practice, with Saturday afternoons and Sunday on-call) and time off in lieu. There are no out-of-hours requirements, and flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

About the Team: The practice team consists of two experienced vets with 19 and 10 years in the field, three registered veterinary nurses, one student nurse, two veterinary care assistants, a head receptionist, three client care advisors, and a practice manager.
