​An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse in a dynamic small animal practice in Epsom, Surrey. The practice is seeking a dedicated professional to join their hardworking team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a practice that values its team and encourages continuous professional development.

About the Role:

  • This position can be full or part-time, working up to 40 hours per week with only 1 in 4 weekends and no out-of-hours.

  • The practice understands the importance of a good work/life balance and is open to discussions on what shifts would work best for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard of care for patients and clients.

  • Nurses play a critical role in patient care, and the practice is looking for a candidate who can embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

Ideal Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard.

  • They will have an interest in learning about the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals.

About the Practice:

Ideally situated close to the town centre and a 7-minute walk from Epsom train station, the practice is purpose-built and offers plenty of onsite parking. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, a growing orthopaedic kit, and separate dog and cat wards. The practice also welcomes visiting orthopaedic and cardiac vets, enabling them to perform more in-depth surgeries and work up cases within the practice. The team comprises 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, a Practice Manager, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, and 2 receptionists.
