We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an exceptional Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our clients’ practice in Andover, Hampshire on a full-time basis.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. The current team consists of 3 Vets, 5 Nurses and a great receptionist team. You will be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care within a friendly and supportive team.
The Role:
Our clients’ are looking for someone with excellent clinical knowledge and experience, with the desire to maintain the very high standard of care which we strive to provide. You will be leading our team of existing nurses which consists of 3 RVN’s and one SVN. Professional progression is encouraged, and as a result several of our vets and nurses have advanced qualifications. This is a full-time position which include a 1 in 4 weekend rota basis with no OOH.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and good clinical skills. You will be an experienced veterinary nurse with previous experience of a head nurse role.
