We are currently working on behalf of a lovely small animal practice in Derby who is looking to recruit a full-time Head Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
The Practice
Our client is small animal practice situated in Derby that provides cost-effective veterinary treatment without compromising the high-quality care and the team is all committed to providing gold standard care. The practice is fully equipped with modern surgical and diagnostic facilities. Facilities include digital x-ray, in-house lab and 2 theatres. This fast-paced small animal practice is very busy, often with 20+ ops per day. If you are a capable and confident Veterinary Surgeon, this practice can offer you a well-equipped surgery with 3 vets and a support team to be proud of.
 
The Role
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week with weekends on a rota basis and no out of hour’s requirement. 
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate would be confident and competent in all soft tissue surgeries and basic orthopaedics, and will be happy to mentor and guide less experienced team members. They offer a great opportunity for vets who have a surgical bias.
