Our client is looking for a small animal surgeon, to head the surgical caseload at a first opinion hospital based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
Would suit a vet with a Surgery Certificate, or looking for a good caseload to complete their Surgery Certificate.
You would split your time between heading the first opinion surgical caseload and learning from the surgical specialists at their brand new referral site nearby, set to open in December 2017.
The Practice:
They are a large practice with fantastic facilities and emphasis on patient care, customer care, teamwork and high standards. As a company they promise to deliver a caring and compassionate service, with 24 hour a day 365 days a year emergency treatment with fully qualified vets on site, ample parking for all types of vehicles, clean, spacious and air-conditioned waiting rooms with friendly reception staff, hospital standard operating theatres, digital X Ray, CT/MRI Scanners, in house laboratories and intensive care units. Plus, the group will be opening a brand new referral site later in the year.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a permanent full-time veterinary surgeon, to work 4 days/ week and approximately 1:4 weekends.
There will be no OOH and the rota will be negotiable for the right candidate, but standard FT hours would be 2 days 8am-7.30pm and 2 days 8am-6pm.
This role is to provide our clients, customers, and pets the highest level of care.
This unique position will offer both excellent first opinion surgical caseload and the opportunity to spend time with specialist surgeons at a referral centre.
In return, our client is offering a very generous salary package and potential for negotiable rota. CPD and progression are actively encouraged and RCVS/ BVA/ BSAVA fees paid.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
