We are working with a client that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team on a full-time basis as the Lead Vet to drive clinical standards, develop new opportunities and support commercial growth.

The Practice:
This bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including x-ray, ultrasound, haematology, BP, ECG, operating theatre and in-house lab. They are a very motivated, enthusiastic and welcoming team where there are currently 2 permanent vets, a regular locum, 3 nurses and 2 reception colleagues. By joining them, you will become part of a progressive surgery dedicated to providing the highest standards of care to clients and their pets.
The Role:
Our client is looking to recruit a full time Lead Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis.
This position is 40hrs per week including 1 in 3 weekends, Saturday 9.00am-6.00pm and Sunday 11.00am-5.00pm but no out of hours.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have good general small animal surgical and diagnostic skills along with a desire to explore and complete full work up on cases to compliment the current vet team who have special interests in orthopaedics. The practice provides full support and encouragement and allows clinical freedom for continued personal growth and development.
