The Practice:
This practice is one of the top providers of veterinary care in North London and has a strong team of 8 vets, most of which are certificate holders in Medicine or Surgery.  The practice also has an array of facilities to provide a full service of care and very rarely refer any patients.  All branches are modern and fully equipped with up to date surgical and diagnostic equipment. They offer a range of services ranging from free puppy and kitten consultations, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, separate dog and cat facilities and a fully equipped in-house laboratory.  They have a large, friendly team of vets and nurses who are all highly trained and regularly kept up to date with ongoing training to ensure all staff has up to date knowledge with the advances of veterinary medicine and surgery.
 
The Role:
This is a full-time position working 44hours per week with rota’d weekends and no out of hour requirements.
This position will include a degree of clinical work and weekend consulting, however, it will include regular liaisons with the management team to discuss new ideas, marketing, industry etc to drive the practice forward and keep up to date with all modern services. This position will also include a large amount of people management, molding of the team, motivating and organising of the teams of Vets and Nurses as well as covering rota aspects etc. 
 
In return, the practice can offer a highly generous salary between £60,000-£80,000 plus additional benefits.  There is also accommodation available if required.
 
The Candidate:
This role is all about finding the right candidate and what you can bring to this position.  You must be highly experienced, ideally with a minimum of 4-6years + in practice, have enthusiasm, drive, ambition, dedication and more importantly fantastic people management and motivation skills.
 
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
