Role: Locum Veterinary Surgeon (x 2 locums)

End Date: For up to 2 months

Hours: Full-time, 4 or 5 days a week

• Normal weekday shift hours are 08:45-18:45. 

Weekends:

• Weeknight inpatient duties are 13:00-21:00 plus available by phone for the duty nurse or to attend the practice if required (rarely) between 21:00-08:00. The working day following is 08:00-17:00.
• Weekend inpatient care is Saturday 08:00-18:00 plus available by phone for the duty nurse or to attend the practice if required (rarely) and Sunday 08:00-17:00 plus available by phone for the duty nurse or to attend the practice if required (rarely).
• Saturday consulting shift is 08:45-17:00

OOHs: Preferably a locum who is happy to participate in the inpatient care rota for nights/weekends on a 1:8 basis (OOHs covered by Vets Now) and possibly work the odd Saturday consulting shift if required.

Branch Work: TBC

Sole Charge: Some

Accommodation: Available (or if already in use, an accommodation allowance)

Vehicle: Dependant on the branchwork required

Pay Rate: Negotiable / Dependent on Experience
