Role: Locum Veterinary Surgeon
Type: Small animal
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Start: Mid-January (ideally w/c 15th or 22nd)
Finish: Ongoing until a permanent vet is recruited
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday - Friday 4.5 days. Shifts of either 8:30am – 5:00pm, 6:00pm or 7:00pm
Weekends: 1:4 Saturday 8.30am - 4pm then on call till 6.30pm (nurse does a 10pm check so if needed may be called out), Sunday 8.30am - 10am on call, in practice 10am - 1pm then on call till 6.30 pm (again nurse does 10pm check so if needed may be called out) 
Out of hours: 7pm - 10pm once or twice a week 
Sole charge: Only at weekends
Branch work: None
Computer system:  Robovet
Consults: 15 minutes
Accommodation: Not available
Vehicle: Van is provided for home visits
Other info: When you are working the weekend, you will work the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, giving you a long weekend until the following Monday.
