We are currently recruiting on behalf of a mixed practice in North Wales, that are looking to recruit a mixed Vet to join their 32 Vet team.
The Practice
This is practice a mixed practice, with 6 branches across the North of Wales. They offer 24-hour care, 365 days per year, and small animal facilities include a modern X ray, ultrasound, ECG, pulse oximetry, haematology and biochemistry analysers, and orthopaedic equipment.
The practice currently employs 32 Vets, and 18 Nurses within the team.
The Role
This is a mixed position (50% farm, 5% equine, 45% small animal).
It is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 08.30-18.30 or 8.30-13.00 on a ½ day.
Weeknights on call are 1:5 and you would receive a ½ day off following this.
Weekends are 1:5 working Saturday 8.30-17.30 and you would remain on call for the rest of the weekend. Following a weekend on call, you would receive a Monday, Thursday afternoon and the Friday off.
The Candidate
As this is a large Veterinary practice and they have the capacity to support Vets with all levels of experience, from New Graduate to a Vet with lots of experience.
They always have 4-5 Vets on call, so there is always support available.
To fit in with the rest of the team, you must be outgoing and have a ‘get up and go’ attitude.
In return, our client is offering a salary of £19,500 (new graduate) + a 2 bedroom property with council tax and utility bills paid for + vehicle with a fuel card + VDS + Fees + 28 days holiday + 5 days CPD + OOH bonus scheme
