We are working with a small animal practice in Farnham, Surrey, that is looking to recruit a New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon for a full-time permanent position. This practice offers loads of support for a new graduate vet starting their first role!
The Practice:
This practice is made up of 7 vet surgeons and 5 nurses. They can offer a wide range of services including: Full medical, surgical and anaesthetic facilities using modern equipment and the safest anaesthetics. They provide high-quality diagnostic equipment to aid accurate assessment, this includes digital x-rays for the best pictures, ultrasound, endoscope and ECG.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working on a 4.5 day basis with a weekend rota of 1:5 Saturday and Sunday (9:00-5:30 and 10:00-4:00).
There are no out of hour requirements for this role and no sole charge either. This position will include consults and surgery, so will provide you with experience in both fields.
The Candidate:
Our client is looking for a team member that is motivated in their profession and keen to develop. They should have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate empathy. It is important that they can integrate into the community and with the veterinary team. A good social life, personal hobbies and a keenness to settle in a new environment would be advantageous and must have a valid driving licence.
