Our client is looking for a small animal night Veterinary Surgeon to work 1 week on 2 weeks off rota at their forward-thinking, gold standard practice in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
The Client:
They are a large practice with fantastic facilities and emphasis on patient care, customer care, teamwork and high standards. As a company they promise to deliver a caring and compassionate service, with 24 hour a day 365 days a year emergency treatment with fully qualified vets on site, ample parking for all types of vehicles, clean, spacious and air-conditioned waiting rooms with friendly reception staff, hospital standard operating theatres, digital X Ray, CT/MRI Scanners, in house laboratories and intensive care units. Plus, there will be a brand new referral hospital within the group, set to open December 2017.
The Role:
Your rota will be one week of nights in 3 weeks, Friday evening to Friday morning and your role will be to provide our clients and pets with the highest level of care.
Hours will be:
Monday -Friday 7.45pm to 8.30am, with 1-hour unpaid lunch, which equates to 11 hours 45 mins per night.
Saturday -Sunday 5.45pm to 8.30am, with 2-hour unpaid lunch, which equates to 12 hours 45 mins per night.
Therefore, total hours for 7 days working = 84 hours 15 mins.
You will be required to work a minimum of 120-night shifts per year and salary will be £48,524 per annum (Based on minimum 120 shifts per annum, this would be £410.16 per night).
Package includes the use of a vehicle when required by the practice. CPD and progression are actively encouraged and RCVS/ BVA/ BSAVA fees paid.
Your holiday entitlement would be 5.6 weeks/28 days accrued per year pro rata, which includes bank holidays and is to be taken during the 2 weeks that you are not on your week of nights.
You will be expected to work any Bank Holidays that fall on your week of nights and these can then be taken off in lieu during the 2 weeks that you are on your week of nights.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
