Job Title: Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Job Description:

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a dedicated team at a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in Sheffield.
  • This role provides an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to patient care and interested in providing comprehensive services under one roof.
  • The role is part-time, covering both day shifts (8-9.5 hours with a paid 30-minute lunch) and participation in the on-call rota, including weekdays and weekends, worked from home with a nurse on-site.
  • The successful candidate will be working approximately 2/3 days per week.

The Candidate:

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for patient care in a 24-hour, first-opinion, small-animal, independent RCVS-accredited hospital.
  • A UK driving license is required for this post.

  • The hospital is a busy first opinion, fully equipped, small animal facility that provides its own 24-hour emergency care.
  • This offers the successful candidate the opportunity to see their cases progress.
  • The team comprises experienced peripatetic orthopaedic surgeons and a cardiologist, alongside a dedicated team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Nurses, 4 Receptionists, placement nurses, and an office team.
