We are looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy and successful surgery based in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. This role is part-time working 24 hours a week on a permanent basis.
The Practice
Their bright, spacious, air conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards with excellent facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray, cauterization equipment, multi-parameter monitor and in-house bloods.
The team consists of 2 Vets, 4 Nurses, and 3 Receptions, all of whom are passionate about providing the very best care for their clients and patients. It is a growing practice with a varied case load offering opportunities for those interested in exotics and any other interests or specialists to be supported
The Role
Our client is looking for a part time small animal Veterinary Surgeon.This position will be around 24 hours a week, a weekend rota of 1 in 3.
There will be periods of sole charge, so you will ideally need to be comfortable with this but support will be given. There are no out of hours requirements for this role.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have good medical and some surgical experience, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and genuinely enjoy interacting with clients and their animals.
