We are working with a small group of practices in the Gloucester area that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. This very exciting new requirement is for a Clinical Director/Senior Veterinary Surgeon to run this spacious and modern practice.
The Practice:
This small animal practice is a purpose-built modern, spacious clinic that has a Wonderful supportive team who work tirelessly to make the site a delight to work in. Their veterinary consultations are by appointment, to reduce waiting times and stress to patients. Sick patients are always seen the same day and they have no waiting lists for any procedures. The consultations are longer than many veterinary surgeries. This extra time is to allow for a full and thorough examination of your pet. Vaccinations include a full health check by the vet.
Across our clients' practices, they have wonderfully supportive team, made up of 6 vets, 5 RVN's, and a great reception team. A quality service needs quality staff. Their practice deals with dogs, cats, exotics, and wildlife.
The Role:
Our client is seeking a Clinical Director or a Senior Veterinary Surgeon for their branch that is close to Gloucester. The successful candidate will need to be experienced and happy to work sole charge. You will be consulting and operating on a daily basis.
You will need to be RCVS registered, experienced in consults and surgery and happy to work sole charge.
The Candidate:
An interest in the business side of the practice would be ideal, as there is scope for the right person to go far. You will have the opportunity to build your own client base, grow and develop the clinic, leading to future successes.
They currently have vets doing further study in Exotics, Feline Medicine and Ophthalmology. They also have visiting Cardiologists, an Ultrasonographer and Orthapeadic surgeons. They would be more than happy to support you in you were looking to work towards a certificate, or already are.
