We are currently working with a client based in the borough of Tunbridge Wells in Kent who is looking to recruit an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. The position would be based at our clients' ambulatory practice in Hawkhurst Kent, with clinic facilities located at the Ashford site.
The Practice:
This surgery houses the offices for our clients' vets and support team, with a full range of equine medicines being stocked there along with the portable diagnostic equipment listed below. They are conveniently located and have ample parking facilities situated outside the surgery. Hospitalisation and more involved cases our clients nearby clinic.
They are an RCVS accredited practice and operate a full emergency service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year provided by the veterinary team.

- Digital ultrasound machine
- Digital Video Endoscope
- Gastroscope
- Portable shockwave therapy
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent role that will include a share of the OOHs rota, with time off in lieu. The full rota and shifts will be discussed at the interview. The role is to join an ambulatory team and would be ideal for a vet 5 years or more qualified with motivation to grow and drive the practice forward.
The duties will be varied with a seasonal variety of work with some AI/stud work, there are visiting specialists to provide back up for as needed.
There is a good range of portable diagnostic equipment including DR, ultrasound, respiratory and gastroscopes, shockwave & motorised dentistry.
