Job Title: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Small Animal & Equine Practice

Location: Braintree District of Essex

Practice Type: This is a busy small animal and equine rural practice located on the Essex Suffolk borders with a friendly and supportive team with a collaborative approach. You will be joining a larger practice all working from the same site.

Facilities: They are equipped with usual diagnostics, ultrasound/CR radiography/endoscopy, visiting peripatetic medics/ophthalmologists. 

Team: You will be joining 6 equine vets and a supportive nursing team, including certificate holders and those studying for their certificate qualifications.

Role: They are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team. Primarily an ambulatory role but with excellent facilities for more in-depth clinical workups and hospitalisation of patients. Continuity of case management is encouraged with the support of the whole vet and nursing team.

Hours: Full and Part-time applications will be considered.

Weekends: Some scheduled weekend work required

OOHS: OOH is on an equally shared rota. 

Skills/Exp: A can-do attitude and great communication will help develop long-lasting client relationships and cement your position within the practice team.

Sole Charge: Joining a large experienced team

Salary: Salary up to £55,000 based on full-time position (4-day week)
